Queen Education Centre Limited (“QEC”) is committed to safeguarding the privacy and personal data of all students, parents, and stakeholders. We adhere to the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486, Laws of Hong Kong) and applicable international standards in the collection, use, and protection of personal information.

Collection of Personal Data

QEC may collect personal data including, but not limited to, names, contact details, enrolment records, academic performance, and payment information. Data is collected solely for the purposes of:

  • administering educational programs and related services;

  • maintaining communication with parents and guardians;

  • fulfilling contractual and legal obligations; and

  • improving the quality and delivery of our services.

Use and Disclosure

Personal data will be used strictly in accordance with the purposes stated above. QEC does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Disclosure will only occur where:

  • required by law or regulatory authorities;

  • necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of QEC, its students, or staff; or

  • essential for service delivery through vetted third‑party providers under binding confidentiality obligations.

Data Security

QEC implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of personal data. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only. While reasonable measures are taken, QEC cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access beyond its control.

Retention of Data

Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Upon expiry of the retention period, data will be securely deleted or anonymized.

Rights of Data Subjects

Parents and students have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data held by QEC. Requests must be submitted in writing to the designated Data Protection Officer at qecadmin@qechk.page.

QEC provides educational services and takes all reasonable steps to protect personal data. However, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. By using QEC’s website and services, you acknowledge these inherent limitations and agree that QEC shall not be held liable for breaches or incidents beyond its reasonable control.
